Justice is healing and protecting the community.

In 2014, Achilles International CT named Ryan McKeen as General Counsel. Attorney McKeen preforms these services pro bono. Ryan designed and donated over 40 shirts to Achilles International to help raise money. Governor Malloy has been known to sport one of Ryan’s shirts. Ryan has also donated speaker fees that he has earned by giving lectures at legal seminars to Achilles International CT.

In addition to being naming sponsor, of the McKeen Law Firm, Race to Fill the Pantry in 2013 and 2014 Attorney McKeen has donated over $900 to the Glastonbury Food Pantry. The races have raised over $5000 for charity and two trailers full of food for the Glastonbury Food Bank. McKeen Law Firm, LLC is sponsoring the 2016 Race To Fill The Pantry.

In 2013, Attorney Ryan McKeen, sponsored a local family for Christmas. A child wished for a bike. In addition to other presents, Ryan made sure that Santa delivered a bicycle, helmet, and safety gear. In 2014, Ryan donated to adopted a child’s wish list from Night Angels in Hartford. Night Angels provided gifts to children living in a Hartford Homeless Shelter.

Ryan McKeen helped incorporate The First Mile, LLC, free of charge. Ryan believes this is a great racing company founding by outstanding people.

Ryan regularly does pro bono work. In 2014, he obtained Social Security Disability benefits for a man who suffered a stroke. He volunteers to help homeowners in foreclosure cases.

One of Ryan’s high school classmates was diagnosed with cancer. His family needed to raise money. They held a silent auction. McKeen Law Firm, LLC donated a real estate closing to the auction.

In 2015, McKeen Law Firm, LLC co-sponsored a fundraiser for Achilles CT. The fundraiser raised over $5000. In 2016 we again sponsored the fundraiser and it was even more successful.

In the face of massive judicial branch layoffs Attorney McKeen put together a free seminar on a Saturday morning for those being laid off.

In 2016 East Granby social services put out a call for backpacks, lunch boxes, and water bottles. We took a field trip to LL Bean and answered the call.
